This is a list of current roleplays on the board, and a short overview of the main characters of each, AS OBSERVED BY ME. This means that not all stories/characters may be represented accurately, and if you get butthurt over that shit, then you are welcome to kiss MY ass, and suck it up. This is a quick-view guide. If you want to know all of the in's and out's of an ongoing game, the best way to figure it out is to READ THE THREAD. TL;DR? Then you are shit out of luck, my friend.

Underdark Outcasts
*Old World/Fantasy*

I) Curiosity and Cunning
Story Synopsis:
Two Drow, outcasts of the Underdark realm by choice and necessity, are searching for a lost friend, who has been captured by his own kind, according to the recount of the young fawn who has joined their party.
Main Characters:
Kieran Kil'ana - previously Kieran Auvry'ndar; Drow male, mage; the smarter, gentler twin of two outcasts of the Underdark, soft-spoken and kind. Friendly with all factions. Previously the tudor of Ardul, and now her devoted lover, he has taken a new name with her at her wish.
Ardul Kil'ana - previously Ardul Noqu'ghym; Drow female, summoner; previously devoted to Set, the ancients' Jackal God; escaped the Underdark and has sworn off her house on pain of death from her sisters. Raised by loving parents, but turned hard by the darkness, she has reached back to her gentler roots under Kieran's teaching.
Carroll - a young fawn, female; curious and fickle, as children are wont to be, but kind-hearted and naïve. She is accompanying Kieran and Ardul into the horselands in search for a common acquaintance of Kieran's, a horseman named Sylvan, whom she believes has been kidnapped.
Sylvan of the Red Plains - Centuar male, ranger; previous tutor of both Kieran and Carroll, currently being sought after by both parties. Whereabouts unknown.

Roaving Lycans
*Old World/Fantasy*

I) Three is a Crowd
Story Synopsis:
After helping two Lycans escape from an Elvish compound, a bard is accompanying them on their journey, on which one hopes to overcome the animal she thinks she is, and the other hopes to convince her that there's enough room in her human heart for him.
Main Characters:
Astrior Huntre - Human female, illusionist; Lycan since age 8; orphaned at the hand of her brother and an accomplice, now both dead at her own hand, she considered herself the monster of the night that others labeled her until Micah came along and convinced her otherwise. Now Micah's friend, she struggles with her feelings for him.
Micah Bronlin - Human male, mercenary; Lycan since an accident several months ago, which Astrior blames herself for (though the infection was not at her hand). One of four children, he travels as a sword for hire, mostly just happy to be on the move. After healing and befriending Astrior, he travels with her as a friend, hopeful for more.
Eiris Edinborough - Elven female, bard; daughter of a Sun Elf and a White Elf, she travels for fun and her own thrills, mostly hiring herself out to inns with taverns for a place to sleep as evening entertainment. A free spirit and rather crass, as well as a recovering alcoholic, she currently travels with the pair of shy Lycan lovers after their escape from a compound.

I) In Search of Restitution
Story Synopsis:
After attacks on the local urban Werewolf population have become more frequent, the lycans have begun to retaliate against their perceived aggressors, the Vampires. Our duo has become wrapped up in resolving these brawls between the leaders of the night-factions before their urban center breaks out in a full-scale war.
Main Characters:
Brooklynn Raskoph - nicknamed Brook or Brookie; Human female, comic book sales clerk; searched out a vampire to turn her after the death of her father, looking for immortality. One of three siblings, at odds with her mother and "normal" brother. Recently became involved with Thomas romantically after a chance meeting.
Joel Raskoph - Human male, unemployed; asked his sister Brookie to turn him after discovering her secret to immortality, and wasted no time learning to abuse his newfound resilience with drugs and alcohol. Forced into addiction recovery by Brooklynn's well-meaning brother, he is now struggling to sober up with the support of his sister and boyfriend.
Thomas Crawford - Human male, full-time student; attends classes online, currently finishing his fourth degree, for want of something better to do. No aspirations to climb the corporate ladder, he was considering moving into the woods and becoming an isolationist prior to meeting Brooklynn. Now wishes to have her move in with him, but is having his plans hindered by her recovering brother. Ill at ease with his state of vampirism, which was essentially forced upon him.

I) Pending Commitment
Story Synopsis:
Siblings, friends and lovers are all trying to figure out their dynamics together after the cessation of their haunting by spirits and demons, and work out their relationships and impending marriages before someone walks out for good.
Main Characters:
Brendan Kean - generally goes by Kean; Human male, ex-runner for the "underground"; followed by demons most of his life, he bears warding tattoos to save himself from possession, and has learned basic exorcism rites for his own well-being. Currently senses that his demon-haunting days are behind him, and he hopes to settle down and raise a family with his fiancé, Andy.
Andrea Hart - nicknamed Andy; Human female, former runaway; was stumbled upon by Brendan at the runaway house after thieving his wallet, and subsequently began living with him after being saved from demons. Previously suffered a miscarriage (Zacky's baby) while at the runaway house, she is now pondering her readiness to have a family and has cold feet about her engagement to Brendan, though she is pregnant again with his child.
Marie Alice DuVal - Human female, transplanted Gypsy; originally from France, considered Brendan's "sister" after her family took him in for a time during his visit overseas. She now lives under his roof with her fiancé Zacky, and is pregnant with his child. She has misgivings about their upcoming marriage because of his sexist and homophobic tendencies.
Zachary Bennett - nicknamed Zacky; Human male, former runaway; had a traumatic childhood, raised in a basement because of his grandfather. Established himself as the leader at the runaway house, but was "rescued" by Marie; however, he returns there whenever there is a hiccup at home because he is more comfortable there. Wants to find his father for personal reasons, but his mother will not offer up any information about him. Recovering alcoholic.

I) Fire and Ice
Story Synopsis:
Under Allegretta's direction, a group of young mutants prepares for battle against the workings of a powerful mutant who has been playing both sides of the field, acting as a proponent of mutant supremicy while also funding government programs experimenting on and torturing captive mutants in the name of science.
Main Characters:
Allegretta - given name unknown; human female. Mutant: hyperspeed, auto-regeneration. Even tempered vigilante set on the destruction of Corbin Duponte and Athena for crimes against mutants in the name of science, she also has a personal vendetta to settle. Generally cool towards people, she has accepted the soft spot she holds for her once-pupil, Sensei, and awkwardly pursues a relationship with him in the midst of internal battles regarding allegience.
Sensei - born Damien Reynolds; human male. Mutant: psionics. Formerly a student at Hillside Acadamy, he was seduced into joining Athena's mutant-supremacy terrorist cell by the promise of power and status. After the cell split, he joined Allegretta's group. Quick to anger and quick to act, he is working to learn to control his temper and to overcome his inate feeling of supremicy over non-mutants, mostly out of reverence for Allegretta's wishes, and his desire to pursue a relationship with her.
Eden - last name unknown, Eden may be an alias or her given name; human female. Mutant: teleportation. Formerly a student at Hillside Academy, she was recruited into Allegretta's vigilante cell by Sensei, who sought her out as a previous aquaintance (also former romantic interest, but no more). Grew up in the foster system, and is intrigued by Allegretta's past. Eager to please, eager to act. Holds a shared infatuation with Lex, but has decided against acting on it until their current mission is a thing of the past.
Matthew Parker - goes by Matt; human male. Mutant: bone structure manipulation. Formerly a student at Hillside Academy, he was recruited into Allegretta's vigilante cell by Sensei, who sought him out as a previous aquaintance, and petitioned his assistance; joined only after Lex did. Easily influenced by friends and those in positions of power. Craves acceptance, finds gratification in acting as part of a team. Meek in his decision-making, unless influenced by others, and generally mild-mannered.
Alexander Wallis - goes by Lex; human male. Mutant: air manipulation. Formerly a student at Hillside Academy, he was recruited into Allegretta's vigilante cell by Sensei, who sought him out as a previous aquaintance, and petitioned his assistance; joined only after being confronted by Allegretta for his resistance to the call. "Question authority / rage against the machine" mentality, does not respond well to displays of authority or power. Viciously loyal, and now stands by the mission at hand, though he may not agree with all tactics involved. Holds a shared infatuation with Eden, but has decided against acting on it until their current mission is a thing of the past.
Trent Matthews - human male. Mutant: physical manifestation, draconic attributes; flight, firebreathing. Formerly a student at Hillside Academy, he was seduced into joining Athena's mutant-supremacy terrorist cell by the promise of power and status, and Athena's personal seduction. Pursued a relationship with Athena, only to find out after discovering her pregnancy (his child) that she regarded him more as a pet than as an equal. Befriended by Patricia, he left Athena behind to join Allegretta's cause, as she was his first real friend. Hot-tempered and low on self-esteem, he regards his mutation as more of a curse than anything.
Patricia Stevens - human female. Mutant: physical manifestation, feline attributes; darksight, acute balance. Formerly under the employ of Corbin Duponte as a model. Athena's arch-enemy, she snubbed Trent at first, thinking him of her calibur, but has since befriended him. Sly and charismatic, had difficulty making real friends under Corbin's employ due to her high libedo and short attention span regarding most things that her fellow models had to talk about. Generally loyal; very high maitanence.
